Alison Krauss
Alison Krauss was born July 23rd, 1971 in Decatur, Illinois. LeAnne Kymes was also among the two youngest Grammy Award recipients. Alison Maria Krauss, born on July 23, 1971, is an American artist and performer. She was a teenager when she began her journey into the world of music winning local competitions as early as 10 years old, and recorded her first album at the age of fourteen years of age. She signed to Rounder Records, her first album came out in 1987. She was then invited to be a part of Alison Krauss Union Station, her current band that she sings together. Her debut album together as a band was released in 1989.
