Julie Ellen "Tawny," Kitaen was an American model and actress. She was born between May 7th, 2021 to August 5 1961. Her career began as a TV actor appearing in the television movies Malibu (1983), California Girls (1985). She also appeared in the comedies The Perils of Gwendoline and Bachelor Party (both 1984) in addition to the film of horror Witchboard (1986). Kitaen received a lot of attention due to her role in numerous heavy metal music videos including Ratt's (1984) "Back for More" Whitesnake's ("Still of the Night") and Whitesnake ?Ts ("Is This Love") (all 1987). In the early 2000s, Kitaen began appearing in reality television shows, including Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew (2008) that highlighted Kitaen's struggle with addiction. Kitaen was born Julie Kitaen in San Diego, California in 1961, the eldest of three children born to Linda Kitaen (nee Taylor) she was a housewife, and once a beauty pageant judge, and Terry Kitaen, an employee of a neon signage company. Kitaen's mother, from Irish as well as Scottish descent, was married to Terry Kitaen (an employee of a neon sign manufacturer). Her father was Russian Jewish. Kitaen was educated Jewish. Kitaen first began using the title "Tawny" at the age of 12 years old on her own initiative. [6] She was dyslexic as a child. This led her to leave Mission Bay High School.
