Kari Sam Wuhrer born April 28, 1968 is an American singer and actress. Wuhrer first began her acting career when she was in her teens. She was best known for her role as Maggie Beckett from the TV show Sliders and also for the role of the character Sheriff Samantha Parker on the horror film Eight Legged Freaks. Her family has given her three brothers. As a teenager she was a nightclub performer in the dark, escaping from home. Kari Samantha Wuhrer, an American model and actress was born in Brookfield, CT on the 28th of April 1967. Her birth date was April 28 the 28th of April, 1967 at Brookfield Connecticut. Her father is an German American policeman, as well as a salesperson for autos. Kari's three siblings are all of them. In her teens performing in nightclubs, she was able to make a name for herself when she would sneak away and perform. Kari was first introduced to acting in Wooster School at the age of 13 and then went further to pursue a degree in drama at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, Columbia University Marymount Manhattan College as well as the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art under the famous Uta Hagen. Kari began acting when she was as a teenager, and her first television appearance on the 1987's MTV Remote Control.
