Meagan Good was born in Panorama City, Los Angeles on 8 August 1981. Her mother Tyra Wardlow Doyle managed her at the time she was in her teens. Her career in acting began at the age of four. She was raised in Canyon Country, California with three siblings. She started her acting career as a television extra in earlier the years. In 1995 at 13 she got her first role in the debut film Friday. It was her first time getting noticed for her performance as teenage troubled Cisely Batiste, in the film Eve's Bayou in 1997 for which she was awarded two nominations including her first N.A.A.C.P. Image Award Nomination. Good took on small film and television roles for several years and began transitioning into more seasoned roles during the latter part of 2000. She was a part of Nina on Cousin Skeeter a Nickelodeon T.V. program from 1998 to 2001. Also, she was cast in small roles in films House Party Down to the show from 1998 to 2001. Minute and 3 Strikes.
